As a sports bettor, I'm a huge fan of tracking weather forecasts.

However, I can't say I ever expected to be digging into a UFC weather report, but here we are.

UFC Freedom 250 takes place Sunday on the White House South Lawn and the latest forecast shows hot, humid and potentially wet weather.

UFC commissioner Dana White says the fights will go on as planned no matter how bad the weather gets, meaning bettors should factor in the conditions before making wagers as well.

Here's the latest UFC Freedom 250 weather report, including when (and how much) rain is expected to fall Sunday in Washington, D.C.

UFC Weather Report for Sunday

According to the National Weather Service, highs will be in the mid-90s with partly sunny conditions through the early afternoon.

In fact, the chances of rain remain in single digits until 3 p.m. ET, but that's when the conditions could begin to get dicey.

Rain chances bump to 34% at 5 p.m. ET, which is when the preliminary fights are scheduled to start.

At 8 p.m. ET, when the main card is expected to get underway, the chances of rain rocket to 70% before dropping to 45% at 10 p.m. ET.

There are storms in the UFC weather report as well, so lightning could be a factor tonight, too.
