Bulls vs Pelicans NBA Preview
I’m taking Derik Queen over 28.5 Points, Rebounds, and Assists against the Bulls tonight.
Queen has been fantastic of late — he’s been a lot of fun. His last few games: 43, 38, 32 PRA.
He’s getting pretty extended run, playing about 30-32 minutes per game, and given where the Pelicans reside in the standings, and what their current situation is, there’s no reason for New Orleans not to play him.
Queen one of the Pelicans' better young players. So, he should get the minutes, he should get the run, and I don’t think it matters whether they’re winning big or losing big.
He’s somebody who should stay on the floor, play his normal rotation, and get the experience regardless of the situation.
Over 28.5 PRA might feel high, but for him it makes sense — a couple of weeks ago, the first time I bet him, he was at 17.5 PRA, and now it’s jumped by about 33 percent.
Bulls vs Pelicans Prediction, Betting Analysis
The matchup in Chicago is excellent for Queen tonight.
The Bulls are just getting absolutely destroyed by centers.
Positionally, similar players have done really well: Alex Sarr, a younger player, had 31 PRA; Kel'el Ware had 35 PRA; Nikola Jokic, obviously, had 67.
Queen is not Jokic, but other centers have gone well over their lines against Chicago.
So, I like the spot for Queen on Monday night.
- Derik Queen Over 28.5 Points, Rebounds, and Assists (-120)
