  • Sharp bettors are playing the over/under in tonight's final NBA tip between the Grizzlies and Lakers (10:30 p.m. ET, NBA TV).

With short three-game NBA slate to complement tonight’s World Series Game 6, bettors haven’t had a ton of places to look for action Tuesday night.

And while Game 6 is taking on the highest bet count of the evening (no surprise there), sharps are eyeing a different game, at least according to the tools at The Action Network.

Through three games apiece, the Grizzlies are one back of the 2-1 Lakers in the Western Conference standings, but are finding themselves listed as 12-point underdogs in Los Angeles. Still, most bettors (59%) are happily trusting LeBron James and Anthony Davis to cover the lofty number.

Odds as of Tuesday at 2 p.m. ET and via PointsBet, where Action Network users can access an exclusive promotion to get a 200% deposit match (deposit $50, bet with $150).

As for sharps, they’re not so focused on the spread.

This total opened right around 220, depending on the sportsbook. Some of the earliest to market were a tad higher, but most sat right on the flat number when they released opening lines.

Since that point, most bettors have faded their general tendency by taking the under. Sixty-three percent, in fact, have hit the under, which is off to a 28-23-0 start across all games so far this season.

And while it’s often the case that sharps and public bettors end up on opposite sides, there’s no rule that says they can’t agree on a bet, which is what looks to be happening tonight.

Two Sports Insights Bet Signals — indicators of professional action causing line moves — hit the under throughout the day Tuesday, shooting this line down to its current listing of 218.
