NBA Injury News

7 p.m. ET Update: The Pelicans will be without Lonzo Ball and JJ Redick (heel) on Tuesday. Ball is sitting for the second straight game due to a strained right hip.

Elfrid Payton has been cleared to return Tuesday after missing the previous five games with a strained hamstring. Derrick Rose has been ruled out for conditioning after being in the league's health and safety protocols.

Marc Gasol has been ruled out Tuesday as he continues to work himself back into game shape. Goran Dragic and Avery Bradley have been ruled out for the Heat on Tuesday.

The Brooklyn Nets will be missing two of their star players and their third is questionable to play on Tuesday night. The Nets announced that Kyrie Irving won't accompany the team on this week's three-game road trip in order to tend to a family matter. James Harden is listed as questionable with a sore neck after he was elbowed in the head Sunday. Landry Shamet will also sit out after he was diagnosed with a sprained right ankle.

The New Orleans Pelicans are monitoring Lonzo Ball who is questionable for Tuesday night's game against the Los Angeles Lakers. Ball sat out the Pelicans' game on Sunday due to a strained right hip.

Stephen Curry had been ruled out again ahead of Tuesday and will miss his third straight game due to a tailbone contusion, though Golden State Warriors head coach  said it is "Not something we're concerned about."

Derrick Rose is out of the league's health and safety protocols after testing positive for COVID, but he likely won't be available for the New York Knicks as he works to get his conditioning back. Point guard Elfird Payton is also considered questionable in advance of Tuesday's game as he continues to deal with a strained hamstring.
