Bucks vs. Knicks
By Joe Dellera
The Knicks face off against the Milwaukee Bucks with a chance to win their NBA Cup Group and advance to the knockout rounds.
I’m targeting Jalen Brunson in this spot.
Brunson absolutely cooks the Bucks. He scored 36 points against them earlier this season and has averaged 35.1 points per game against them over the past few seasons. In fact, he's gone for 30 or more points in six of his past eight games against Milwaukee.
Given the matchup and the stakes, I expect Brunson to take control of this game.
Pick: Jalen Brunson Over 29.5 Points (-125, bet365)
Suns vs. Thunder
By Alex Hinton
When betting on Shai Gilgeous-Alexander's points, the line is very important. He has scored 30 points in 16 of 19 games this season, but has also surpassed 35 points just three times, one of which was a double-overtime game. Tonight, his line is on the lower end at 30.5, so I'll be backing him on the over.
He has scored 31 points in four straight games and in three of his past four games against the Suns. The Suns are also allowing the most 3-pointers to point guards and Gilgeous-Alexander has made two or more in 13 of 19 games.
Pick: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Over 30.5 Points (-109, DraftKings)
Spurs vs. Nuggets
By Action PRO
PRO projects Nuggets center Jonas Valanciunas with 9.93 points today, which represents an excellent 24.1% edge against the market when compared to his 7.5 line.
Valanciunas has gone over this total in seven of 12 games this month, and scored six points in four of the other five contests.
In this matchup against the Spurs, when he gives Nikola Jokic a rest, Valanciunas won't have to face Victor Wembanyama, who remains sidelined with a calf injury.
Playing in front of the home crowd in Denver's altitude, the Nuggets could run away with an early margin that gives Valanciunas more minutes at the end of the game.
Back him to go over this 7.5-point line tonight.
Pick: Jonas Valanciunas Over 7.5 Points (-115)
