When people think of the West Coast Conference, they often envision Gonzaga. The other programs, meanwhile, are usually your prototypical mid-major teams.
But that's not the case this year. Analytically, the WCC is more comparable to a Power 5.
BYU and San Francisco are a pair of those clubs representing the conference well. The two NCAA tourney hopefuls meet Saturday.
San Francisco's 15-2 this season, with the two losses against Grand Canyon and Loyola Chicago.
But the Dons also have a couple of big wins as well, over Davidson and UAB. They're 2-0 in conference play.
BYU's 14-4, off a 110-84 loss to Gonzaga. Some of the Cougars' marquee wins include San Diego State, Oregon and St. Mary's.
