Cornell will travel two and a half hours upstate to Buffalo to take on the Canisius Golden Griffins on Monday night.

This is going to be a stinker of a college basketball game, but the sharps and big money really love one side of the matchup.

Cornell has a smooth 5-1 record with decent non-conference victories over Binghamton (317th), Lafayette (302nd), Colgate (109th), Wells (unranked) and Saint Francis (250th).

All rankings are according to KenPom as of Monday morning.

Cornell's only loss was to Penn State on the road. The Nittany Lions are ranked 75th in the country according to KenPom.

Still, despite that decent record, Cornell is ranked just 245th in the country, on account of its terrible adjusted defense metric.

Meanwhile, Canisius is ranked 252nd in KenPom and doesn't have any marquee victories.
