Big East basketball on a Tuesday night just feels right, especially when there's a matchup between two storied programs such as the No. 17 Connecticut Huskies and the Creighton Blue Jays.
Creighton is coming off back-to-back losses, one was a thrashing by Butler, and the other was a 17-point comeback from Xavier. The Blue Jays are 12-7 overall and sit in sixth place in the Big East.
The Huskies, on the other hand, have been storming through Big East play. They've won their five games, with a 6-2 record in conference and 15-4 overall. UConn sits in third in the Big East but has played fewer games than Providence and Villanova.
