Georgia vs. Saint Louis Analysis
This game will be super fun. Two top-10 tempos in the country and two offenses that put a ton of points on the board.
Robbie Avila, America’s Sweetheart, could give the Dawgs some issues, especially if he’s able to pull big man Somto Cyril away from the middle.
Transition defense will be the key in this game. Saint Louis’ is average, while Georgia’s is excellent.
In fact, despite allowing a ton of open floor possessions, the Bulldogs rank in the 96th percentile nationally in transition points per possession allowed (Synergy).
Georgia has the speed, strength, and athleticism advantages. But Saint Louis has the much better coach, and the Billikens can pick apart the Bulldogs’ defense.
In a high-total game, I’ll be looking to bet the Over while also backing the better coach and the sport’s funniest player.
Pick: Over
