Football takes center stage today as the first NFL Saturday of the season joins forces with a six-game bowl slate.

Bettors aren't needing any convincing to jump on today's college and professional football slate, and that's clearly evident by the current ticket counts.

But college basketball is also offering an impressive 107-game Saturday schedule, including No. 1 Kansas at No. 18 Villanova and No. 5 Ohio State vs. No. 6 Kentucky.

Professionals are happily getting down on today's college hoops action, including the aforementioned Ohio State vs. Kentucky matchup at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Here's how big bets are moving the spread for Saturday's biggest basketball game.

Ohio State vs. Kentucky Sharp Betting Spread Pick

The Buckeyes opened as 4-point favorites against the Wildcats on this neutral court and The Action Network's college basketball public betting data clearly shows where the market-moving money is landing.

Fifty-eight percent of spread tickets have taken Ohio State, yet the line has moved down to -3 across the market. In fact, most books are lessening the juice on that -3 as well, forecasting a move to -2.5 in the near future.

While Kentucky is attracting just 42% of the tickets, those wagers account for 64% of the money, revealing that the biggest bets have hit the Wildcats so far this morning.

Based on this data, it's not at all surprising to see why this spread has traveled the way it has.
