Believe it or not, we're technically already halfway through March Madness, as the First Round is complete (and that's 32 games down out of 63 games in the tournament). Now, we turn our attention to the 2024 March Madness Second Round — and the updated odds to win the NCAA Tournament and odds to make the Final Four.

We've highlighted any NCAA Tournament odds that are better value than our expert predictions in green below. Heading into the Round of 32 on Saturday, four teams are showing value as best bets to win the tournament: Houston, Tennessee, Duke and Illinois. Those same four teams plus one other (Alabama) are also worth a consideration as best bets to make the Final Four ahead of the Second Round.

Here are the latest March Madness odds and March Madness predictions before the second round.

Of the four teams showing relative value to win the NCAA Tournament as of late Friday night, the Duke Blue Devils stand out above the pack. Not only is Duke still a healthy longshot at +2700, if you're into that kind of thing, but our expert predictions have fair value on the Blue Devils at closer to +1600.

At shorter odds, we predicted Houston to win it all before the Tournament started, and according to our projections, you're still getting good value on the Cougars before the Second Round.

With the March Madness field cut in half after the First Round, we're already starting to see some pretty short odds on the top seeds to make the Final Four, with UConn an odds-on favorite to advance to Phoenix. We're showing significantly more value on Houston (yet again) to make the Final Four when it comes to the 1 seeds, however.

As mentioned above, beyond the same four teams that had value to win the NCAA Tournament, we're also projecting that the market is undervaluing Alabama to make the Final Four.
