Army vs UTSA Preview
UTSA has been a covering machine at the Alamodome. And the Roadrunners have again played very well at home this season, outside of that first game against Texas State.
Robert Henry Jr. could be back for UTSA, which would be an added bonus. However, UTSA can really throw the ball around, and Army likely won’t be able to pressure Owen McCown.
The Black Knights rank 127th nationally in Pass Success Rate allowed. Meanwhile, UTSA is a very explosive offense, with McCown throwing for 18 touchdowns and zero interceptions at home this season.
I don’t trust Army’s pass defense.
At the same time, I trust UTSA’s defense at home.
Look at what the Roadrunners idd in recent games against Tulane and East Carolina. They dominated the trenches and wreaked havoc on opposing quarterbacks.
Army is in trouble on Saturday.
Pick: UTSA -7.5 or Better
