The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets take on the BYU Cougars in the 2025 Pop-Tarts Bowl in Orlando, Florida. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. EST on ABC.

I came through with a 2-leg same-game parlay for the Pop-Tarts Bowl, featuring a moneyline pick and a player prop for BYU wide receiver Chase Roberts.

Read on for the Georgia Tech vs. BYU odds and my college football picks for Saturday, December 27, 2025.

Leg 1: BYU Moneyline

The Cougars had a strong case for a playoff spot in 2025.

Unfortunately, they were left out of the CFP after losing to Texas Tech twice, including in the Big 12 Championship Game.

I expect BYU to be motivated and ready for this matchup, looking to send a message.

The biggest advantage BYU has in this game is its defense.

Georgia Tech struggled defensively down the stretch, and that unit should have a hard time getting consistent stops against BYU's dynamic offense.

Leg 2: Chase Roberts 40+ Receiving Yards

The Yellow Jackets’ secondary is unlikely to have answers for this BYU wide receiver corps.

Chase Roberts is a true big-play threat who can cash this prop on a single reception thanks to his ability to stretch the field.

The senior hit this mark in eight of his 12 games this season, making 40-plus receiving yards a realistic expectation.
