Legendary coach Rich Rodriguez helped Jacksonville State make one of the cleanest FCS-to-FBS transitions we’ve seen. In 2023, the Gamecocks went 9-4. Quarterback Tyler Huff was electric in 2024, throwing for 2,179 yards and rushing for 1,343 more. He racked up 36 total touchdowns, earned Conference-USA MVP, and gave the offense real balance. Running back Anwar Lewis chipped in with over 1,200 rushing yards of his own.
