Western Michigan vs Miami (OH) Preview
Since their unlucky 41-38 loss to UNLV, the RedHawks have ripped off four straight double-digit wins.
The defense stuffed NIU into a locker. The offense dropped 44 points on Eastern Michigan.
The depth is showing. After running back Kenny Tracy went down, Jordan Brunson has rushed for 267 yards over the past three games.
The offensive line is playing better, establishing itself as one of the best run-blocking units in the MAC, ranking 36th nationally in Offensive Line Yards.
Dequan Finn is playing well as a dual-threat in the running game, racking up 213 rushing yards and two scores in league play.
I still have my doubts regarding Western Michigan’s offense, as it ranks 114th nationally in EPA per Rush and 119th in Pass Success Rate.
Ultimately, I’m banking on the best coach and the highest-upside quarterback in the conference against a below-average MAC offense.
Pick: Miami (OH) -1.5 (-110, bet365)
