C.J. Stroud has been the overwhelming favorite to be the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft for the past month. On Monday morning, that changed.

Stroud is now neck and neck with former Heisman Trophy winner Bryce Young. At FanDuel, both are listed at -115. DraftKings has Young at -120 and Stroud at -105, while Caesars has made the biggest shift with Young at -130.

BetMGM and bet365, as of 1 p.m. ET, still had Stroud favored to go first overall at -130 and -125, respectively.

Stroud has been listed at around -300, while Bryce Young has been north of +200, closer to +225 at most sportsbooks. As more mock drafts have been released and more intel has been revealed in the media, though, it’s not as open-and-shut as it may have previously seemed.

Stroud looks more like a prototypical NFL quarterback, standing 6-foot-3 compared to Young’s 5-foot-10. There is a difference in mobility, though, with the advantage going to Young.

At both FanDuel and DraftKings, former Florida quarterback Anthony Richardson is listed at 20-1 to go first overall.

At FanDuel, there appears to be some drama with the No. 2 overall pick. Lance Zierlein and Peter King have both hinted that the Texans could not pick a quarterback with the pick if Young is not there. There is a thought that Houston has Young atop its draft board and is not as high on Stroud.

For the No. 2 pick, FanDuel has Young at -115, Stroud at +200 and Alabama edge rusher Will Anderson at +400. Richardson is also +2000 to go No. 2.

Richardson is -135 to go No. 3, while Anderson is +250. The Cardinals hold the No. 3 overall pick, and Adam Schefter reported on Monday that the team has had at least six teams reach out about trading up for it. Arizona is evaluating its options, with the draft about 2 1/2 weeks away.
