  • The Chicago Bears take on the Oakland Raiders today (1 p.m. ET, FOX) at Hotspur Stadium in London.
  • We examine how late money is moving the Bears vs. Raiders spread and how bettors are reacting to Chase Daniel under center.

The first international game of the 2019 NFL season kicks off today at 1 p.m. ET with the Chicago Bears and Oakland Raiders facing off at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.

The Bears will start backup quarterback Chase Daniel after Mitchell Trubisky injured his left shoulder in last week's game against the Vikings.

Still, bettors aren't overly worried about Chicago's prospects with Daniel under center.

Odds as of Sunday at 10:30 a.m. ET and via PointsBet, where Action Network users get an exclusive 200% deposit match (deposit $50, bet with $150).

Seventy-six percent of bets and 71% of dollars wagered on the spread have come in on the Bears.

As a result, oddsmakers have steadily adjusted this spread since yesterday.

Bears vs. Raiders Odds

At 6:40 p.m. ET on Saturday, this line sat at Chicago-5. The Bears vs. Raiders point spread has since crossed the important number of 6 to -6.5.

Interestingly, The Action Network's Sean Koerner projects this true line to be Bears -5.5, so don't be surprised to see bettors buy back the Raiders prior to kickoff, especially if this line finds its way to 7.

The total is also seeing one-sided betting, with 74% of tickets and 67% of money wagered hitting the under.

Oddsmakers have reacted by dropping the total from an opener of 41 to 40 at the time of writing.
