Jacoby Brissett will get the start at quarterback for the Cardinals tonight — not only is he playing better than Kyler Murray this season, but the offensive playcalling is less predictable when Brissett is in the lineup.

The Cardinals run play-action at a 21% rate with Murray at quarterback — that number increases to 33% with Brissett under center. Murray has also been asked to play out of the shotgun on nearly 80% of his dropbacks as opposed to fewer than 60% for Brissett.

The Cowboys defense is last in the league in both success rate and points per drive allowed. Arizona has not been efficient on early downs this season, but this is a matchup it can exploit.

Even if the Cardinals continue to struggle on first and second down, the Cowboys also lay claim to the worst defense on third down as well. With Brissett boasting a turnover-worthy play rate of less than 1%, the Cardinals should consistently be able to sustain drives without much resistance.

Surprisingly, Arizona has trailed for just 31% of its snaps this season; the Cards have been competitive in every game. During their current five-game losing streak, they've lost by a combined 13 points and have not lost by a margin greater than four points.

I would gladly lay a touch of extra juice up to -120 if +3.5 is available, otherwise, I am comfortable playing the road team catching a field goal here against the league’s most vulnerable defense.

Pick: Cardinals +3.5 (-115)

Over 53.5 (-110)

Two of the best offenses this season are the Cowboys, and whatever team happens to be playing the Cowboys.

Dallas ranks second in points per game behind only the Colts, while “Cowboys opponents” would rank second if they were listed as one team.

All in all, that means Cowboys games have averaged over 60 points, with only two games this year finishing under 50. One of those was without CeeDee Lamb, and the other was the Week 1 contest where they switched to a run-heavy gameplan against the Eagles following Jalen Carter’s ejection.

The Cardinals rank in the middle-third of both points allowed and points scored this season, making them a roughly league-average team in terms of overall game scoring.

With Dallas games producing more than 60 points on average, that’s about what we should expect tonight.

Pick: Over 53.5 (-110)

Zonovan Knight Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+155)

I have no idea why these odds are this high, but I'm not going to argue.

Zonovan Knight has been the Cardinals' go-to running back since Trey Benson went down. Knight has been used heavily in the red zone, with 11 carries and one target in the last three games.

Michael Carter was released and then signed to the practice squad, and while he may get called up tonight if Emari Demercado isn't available, this is still Knight's backfield.

I have Knight projected to score around 50% of the time.

Pick: Zonovan Knight Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+155)

George Pickens Anytime Touchdown Scorer Prop

George Pickens Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+130)

I've bet George Pickens to score a touchdown nearly every week this season — yet, they still continue to price him too high.

He is the go-to guy in the red zone in the Cowboys offense. He's near the top of the league in red-zone targets (11) and he already has a career-high six TDs on the season. There was a stretch in which he scored a TD in five straight games.

While CeeDee Lamb returning has taken away some of Pickens' volume, the former Steeler continues to be used heavily. In a game with a 53-point total and 3-point spread, he should be in for another big workload.

I have Pickens at close to a 50% chance to score tonight, making this a great bet at plus money.

Pick: George Pickens Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+130)

I respectfully disagree with John and am taking the opposite side with Cowboys -3.

Jacoby Brissett is making the start at quarterback in place of Kyler Murray for the Cardinals once again and the spread only moved a half-point, which feels like a mistake.

I'm not the biggest Murray fan, but this is normally the spot you'd back him — he's 66% against the spread (ATS) as an underdog and 9-0 lifetime at AT&T Stadium.

Brissett is one of the best backup QBs in the NFL for sure and he limits mistakes — but he's also a ceiling killer. Against the Cowboys, you want ceiling because you have to match them point for point.

In Brissett's last 10 starts across three seasons, he hasn't topped 27 points in a game (average of 17.5 PPG), not to mention six straight losses. On the season, the Cardinals have maxed out at 27 points and average under 22 PPG. They have allowed at least 22 points in four straight games.

The Cowboys average almost 31 PPG — and at home, they have dropped 40 (twice) and 44 points.

I love the Cowboys at -3 and still like it at -3.5 as I would make them close to 5-point favorites in this spot.

My favorite prop for this game is Marvin Harrison Jr. to score a touchdown.

The Cowboys have allowed 15 touchdowns to wide receivers entering tonight's game, nine of them to WR1s.

I would parlay this prop with the spread considering Dallas is going to score plenty and the Cardinals will put up points of their own.

Same-Game Parlay: Cowboys -3 + Marvin Harrison Jr. Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+410)
