Cowboys at Eagles: kickoff time, TV channel and live stream
Both teams enter the night at 2-4, clinging to hope in an NFC East that has been held together by the New York Giants’ middling 3-2-1 record. A loss drops either team three games back of first place with more than half the season still to play, which is part of why this matchup carries more weight than the records alone suggest.

Eagles injury report: DeVonta Smith and Dontayvion Wicks out, Saquon Barkley questionable
Injuries are a factor in this game too. Or more precisely: how fast a few players can recover is. Philadelphia’s offense is missing pieces up and down the depth chart. Wide receivers DeVonta Smith and Dontayvion Wicks are both out, leaving rookie Makai Lemon as the top target alongside Darius Cooper and Hollywood Brown. Running back Saquon Barkley carries a questionable tag with a hamstring issue, though he practiced in full on Saturday and appears on track to suit up. If Barkley is active, the Eagles get a much better chance to control the clock and take pressure off McKee.

Tanner McKee’s second start without Jalen Hurts: what to expect
McKee makes his second straight start after Hurts landed on injured reserve with a blood clot issue expected to keep him out for the year. In his first real test, a 25-14 setback against Carolina, that outing produced 215 air yards and a score without a turnover for McKee, numbers that held up despite how little time he’d had with the starters heading into it. This time he gets a full week of practice under first-year coordinator Sean Mannion. “I feel like I have a good preparation process,” McKee said, adding that he plans to lean more on the coaching staff than he did last week.
Cowboys at a crossroads: Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb and a thin defense
Dallas arrives having dropped 2 straight games, but the roster is trending in the right direction. Linebacker DeMarvion Overshown and cornerback Cobie Durant, both sidelined for weeks, are expected to return and should stabilize a defense that ranks near the bottom of the league against the run. On offense, Dak Prescott keeps feeding CeeDee Lamb, who ranks third in the NFL with 48 catches, the most by any Cowboy through six games in franchise history, and is closing in on 8,000 career receiving yards, a mark only a dozen players in league history have reached.
Cowboys vs. Eagles odds, spread and total
Dallas opened as a modest road favorite and has grown into a bigger one since the Hurts news broke. On Kalshi, the Cowboys were trading in the high 60-cent range to win outright as of Monday morning, with Polymarket showing a similar split. The spread sits at Dallas -4.5, and the total has settled in the 43.5-to-44.5-point range, though both numbers have shifted during the week and are worth checking again closer to kickoff.
Prescott brings a perfect record into the night on MNF road starts, winning and covering all four of his previous appearances. Still, even with the market leaning toward Dallas, there’s enough uncertainty here that either side could come out on top.
Cowboys vs. Eagles prediction and key matchups
The game within the game is Philadelphia’s run offense against a Dallas defense that entered Week 7 allowing a league-worst 150 rushing yards a game. Overshown and Durant coming back, Lamb’s production and Prescott’s perfect record in this spot all point the same way. For tonight, we lean toward the Cowboys coming away with the win.
