NFC North Divisional Odds

  • Chicago Bears: 7-4
  • Minnesota Vikings: 9-5
  • Green Bay Packers: 11-5
  • Detroit Lions: 12-1

The NFC North is the lone division in the conference that does not offer a significant betting favorite heading into the season.

Chicago is the current clubhouse leader at 7-4, with Minnesota and Green Bay right behind at 9-5 and 11-5, respectively.

The Detroit Lions, who won just six games last season, are a distant 12-1 to win the division.

When converted to implied probabilities, the Bears have a 36.4% chance to win the NFC North based on odds from the Westgate SuperBook in Las Vegas.

The Vikings check in at 35.7% with the Packers sitting at 31.3%. Again, the Lions (7.7% implied probability to win the NFC North) fall significantly short when compared to their division rivals.

NFC North Best Bet

Green Bay returns a healthy Aaron Rodgers under center and replaced head coach Mike McCarthy with Matt LaFleur, who previously worked for offensive guru Sean McVay.

With Rodgers back leading the offense, the Packers spent the majority of their draft capital on defense, which should help improve that side of the ball.

The Action Network's NFL simulations are bullish on Green Bay's chances to win the NFC North this season, as the Pack take the division title 41.5% of the time.

Odds of 11-5 imply a 31.3% probability, pointing toward the Packers as a very good value bet to win the division.
