Santos normally kicks at the windy Soldier Field on grass. Ideal weather conditions on an artificial surface at AT&T Stadium contribute to a higher percentage of made field goals, especially on longer attempts.
That will help Santos, who has been active this season, making all 11 of his field-goal attempts in six games this season (1.83 per game).
Dallas, meanwhile has allowed 19 field-goal attempts in seven games this season, with this bet hitting six times.
I have Santos projected to go over on this bet 44.8% of the time, so I’d bet it to +125.
Jake Elliott
Under 1.5 Field Goals Made (+106, Caesars)
Philadelphia passes on kicking field goals at the highest rate in the league. Based on the Eagles’ fourth-down distance, yard line and win probability, the Eagles have attempted just eight field goals when 13.9 are expected.
In the five games Elliott has played, he’s attempted just seven field goals (six makes). The Steelers, meanwhile, have allowed just one field goal in four of their first seven games.
I have Elliott favored to go under on this bet 53.6% of the time and would bet it to even money.
Joey Slye
Under 6.5 Kicking Points (-130, DraftKings)
Washington has attempted 2-point conversions at the highest rate (40%) in the NFL this season. In addition, Slye has attempted just nine field goals (seven makes) in seven games.
We’re projecting Slye to go under both his extra-point and field-goal props. That means kicking points is the safe bet.
We have under 6.5 kicking points hitting 63.1% of the time, so I’d bet this to -145.
