Tonight's NHL games provide a stacked lineup as the 2024 Stanley Cup Playoffs continue, and I have three NHL anytime goalscorer picks for the action.
Betting on NHL anytime goalscorers is simple enough: If your player scores a goal at any point in the game, your bet is a winner. MLB has its dingers; the NHL has its anytime goalscorers. And with both types of player props, the bets usually come with plus-money odds attached to them, so they're a favorite among all types of sports bettors.

Maple Leafs vs. Bruins

Kicking off Monday's NHL slate is Game 2 between the Toronto Maple Leafs and Boston Bruins. Jake DeBrusk went nuclear for Boston in Game 1, scoring twice while adding an assist en route to the Bruins' 5-1 win.
Both of those goals came on the power play, which was an issue for Toronto in the regular season, where it ranked in the bottom 10 of the league in penalty minutes taken per game and penalty kill percentage. Not that the Leafs are any better at even-strength, ranking 25th in expected goals against per 60 minutes (xGA/60) at 5-on-5.
DeBrusk should have plenty of opportunities in all situations, given that he skates with Brad Marchand both on the second line and on the power play.
Marchand is a tremendous facilitator who assisted on both of DeBrusk's goals in Game 1, and I could see them connecting once again in Game 2.

Kings vs. Oilers

Fast forward to Monday's NHL nightcap as the Edmonton Oilers host the Los Angeles Kings in Game 1. Edmonton forward Zach Hyman put together the best year of his career as he led the team in goals with an astounding 54.
Yes, almost all of them were tap-ins around the crease as Connor McDavid carved up defenses before finding Hyman in the back door. However, 54 goals is 54 goals, and for this bet, it doesn't matter how it cashes.
Los Angeles is a very strong two-way team that is good at shutting down opponents. That just means McDavid will have to step up so this offense can produce, and the biggest beneficiary of McDavid's strong play is Hyman.

Kings vs. Oilers

I'm risking a half-unit on Hyman to score along with another half-unit on his teammate Leon Draisaitl.
I am fairly confident that at least one of these two guys will find the back of the net, which would guarantee a profit. And, if both score – all the better.
Goaltender Cam Talbot is slated to guard the cage for Los Angeles, and he ended the regular season in poor form, allowing three or more goals in six of his past eight starts. Over that span, Talbot is 4-4 with a fade-worthy .889 SV%.
That brings us to Leon Draisaitl, who is always a threat to score regardless of the opponent. With that said, the Kings are an opponent he has torched over the past couple of seasons, scoring 10 goals over the past 11 meetings.
Finally, we are getting a particularly good line for Draisaitl to sore at +155 via FanDuel, a line that is 15-40 cents longer than the rest of the market at the time of writing.
