Lynx vs. Storm Preview

The Lynx face off against the Storm on Tuesday night in a showdown between two playoff contenders.

The main storyline is that Napheesa Collier will miss tonight’s game, along with the next couple of weeks, after turning her ankle in a game the Lynx led by 40 points late in the third quarter.

She’s the clear MVP at this point in the season and cannot be replaced.

On the plus side, Dijonai Carrington is expected to make her debut for the Lynx after she was acquired from the Dallas Wings for Diamond Miller, Karlie Samuelson and Minnesota's 2027 second-round pick.

She will provide a defensive boost while also contributing as a secondary scorer and facilitator.

Looking at the Storm, Erica Wheeler has a tough matchup tonight. Minnesota has been strong against opposing guards with 71% of guards going under their PA lines in their last 20 games.

Wheeler’s PA is set at 13.5, a number she’s only hit in 48% of games this season.
