The third round of the 2026 Arnold Palmer Invitational gets underway on Saturday at Bay Hill in Orlando, Florida.
Daniel Berger leads the Arnold Palmer Invitational after the first round at 13-under par. He holds a five-stroke lead over the rest of the field, but the tournament is still up for grabs with two days remaining.
Here are my picks for the Arnold Palmer Invitational Round 3 best bets for Saturday.
Arnold Palmer Invitational Round 3 Odds, Best Bets
Sahith Theegala Top 10 (-138 at DraftKings)
Sahith Theegala posted one of the best rounds Friday with a 5-under-par 67 that moved him into a tie for third. At -138, he is worth backing to maintain a top-10 position over the remainder of the tournament.
Bay Hill’s difficulty forces players to create scoring opportunities around the greens. Last year, each of the top four finishers here ranked 13th or better in the field in strokes gained: around the green.
No other strokes-gained category showed a similar trend.
On the PGA Tour, Theegala ranks in the 78th percentile in strokes gained: around the green. It is therefore not surprising that he finished tied for sixth here two years ago and is once again in position for a strong result.
Scottie Scheffler Top 5 (+158 at DraftKings)
Scottie Scheffler is typically a safe bet to climb the leaderboard on weekends, and this event should be no different. Bay Hill has been a strong venue for Scheffler, who has finished inside the top five in three of the past four years.
He won two of those tournaments.
Like Theegala, Scheffler is an excellent short-game player and has gained true strokes around the green in each of his past four tournaments. He finished inside the top five in three of those four events.
Course length is also a significant factor at Bay Hill. Last season, 20.4% of approach shots came from the 175-200-yard range, nearly 4% higher than any other 25-yard grouping.
Entering this week, Scheffler ranks 23rd on the PGA Tour in birdie-or-better percentage on approach shots from 175-200 yards.
