The third round of the 2026 Houston Open gets underway on Saturday at Memorial Park Golf Course in Houston, Texas.
Gary Woodland leads the Houston Open after the second round at 13-under par. He holds a three-stroke lead over the rest of the field, but the tournament remains wide open with two days remaining.
Here are my picks for the Houston Open Round 3 best bets for Saturday.
Houston Open Round 3 Odds, Best Bets
Ricky Castillo Top 20 (+205 at DraftKings)
Ricky Castillo enters Saturday T33 at 4-under par. At +205, he is worth backing to gain ground over the final two rounds.
Castillo’s putter has been strong in recent months, highlighted by his win at the Puerto Rico Open and a fifth-place finish at the Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches. Putting is arguably the most important factor at Memorial Park.
Last year, each of the top three finishers ranked inside the top six in the field in strokes gained: putting. No other strokes-gained category showed a similar trend.
Castillo is just one shot outside the top 20, making +205 a compelling price.
Sahith Theegala Top 20 (-128 at DraftKings)
Another golfer worth targeting in this market is Sahith Theegala. A more stable option, Theegala enters Saturday T11 at 6-under par.
Success on the greens is often supported by strong short-iron and wedge play. Last season, 18.6% of approach shots came from the 125-150-yard range, the highest distribution of any 25-yard grouping at this course.
Theegala finished last season above the PGA Tour average in birdie-or-better percentage from that distance.
He is also a strong putter, ranking in the 77th percentile on the PGA Tour in strokes gained: putting.
