The fourth and final round of the 2026 Houston Open gets underway on Sunday at Memorial Park Golf Course in Houston, Texas.
Gary Woodland leads the Houston Open after the third round at 18-under par. He holds a one-stroke lead over Nicolai Hojgaard in what is likely to be a two-horse race on Sunday.
Here is my pick for the Houston Open Round 4 best bet for Sunday.
Houston Open Round 4 Odds, Best Bet
Nicolai Hojgaard Outright Winner (+100 at FanDuel)
Nicolai Hojgaard enters Sunday in second at 17-under par. He holds a five-stroke lead over the rest of the field, creating a virtual one-on-one matchup against Woodland in the final round.
At +100, it's worth taking a shot on Hojgaard to overcome his one-shot deficit.
Hojgaard's putter has been on fire in recent months, gaining true strokes putting in each of his past seven tournaments. He's flirted with winning on multiple occasions, posting three top-six finishes over that stretch.
However, Hojgaard is a multi-time DP World Tour winner, showing he can close.
Now is the time to bet on him to secure his first PGA Tour win, considering that putting is arguably the most important factor at Memorial Park. Last year, each of the top three finishers ranked inside the top six in the field in strokes gained: putting.
No other strokes-gained category showed a similar trend.
Success on the greens is often supported by strong short-iron and wedge play. Last season, 18.6% of approach shots came from the 125-150-yard range, the highest distribution of any 25-yard grouping at this course.
Entering this week, Hojgaard ranks 50th on the PGA Tour in birdie-or-better percentage from that distance.
