The third round of the 2026 RBC Heritage gets underway on Saturday at Harbour Town Golf Links on Hilton Head Island in South Carolina.
Matt Fitzpatrick leads the RBC Heritage after the second round at 14-under par. He holds a one-stroke lead over the rest of the field, but the tournament remains wide open with two days remaining.
Here are my picks for the RBC Heritage Round 3 best bets for Saturday.
RBC Heritage Round 3 Odds, Best Bets
Xander Schauffele opened the tournament with a 2-under-par 69 and improved with a 3-under 68 in the second round. At -140, he is worth backing to maintain that upward trend heading into the weekend.
While Schauffele is one of the best tee-to-green players in the world, his short game has also been strong in recent weeks. He has gained true strokes around the green in three of his past five tournaments, finishing inside the top 20 in four of those events.
Greenside play is arguably the most important factor at Harbour Town. Last year, each of the top six finishers ranked inside the top 21 in the field in strokes gained: around the green.
No other strokes-gained category showed a similar trend.
It is therefore not surprising that Schauffele has finished inside the top 20 here in each of the past three years, a trend that is unlikely to change this week.
Another golfer worth targeting in this market is Michael Brennan. Like Schauffele, Brennan’s strength lies in his iron play, particularly with the long irons.
Success around the greens at Harbour Town Golf Links is often supported by strong long-iron play. Last season, 22.8% of approach shots came from the 175-200-yard range, the highest distribution of any 25-yard grouping at this course.
Entering this week, Brennan ranks 38th on the PGA Tour in birdie-or-better percentage from that distance. He has utilized this strong course fit to get off to a fantastic start this week, sitting T7 entering the weekend.
At -114, it's worth backing him to remain in position.
