The second round of the 2026 Rocket Classic gets underway on Friday at Detroit Golf Club in Detroit, Michigan.
Peter Malnati holds a two-stroke lead over the rest of the field at 9-under par after the opening round. With three days remaining, this tournament remains wide open.
Here are my picks and Rocket Classic 2 best bets.
Rocket Classic Round 2 Best Bets
Keegan Bradley Top-20 (-118 at DraftKings)
Keegan Bradley had one of the best opening rounds of the day, finishing T6 at 5-under par. At -118, he is worth backing to maintain that momentum for the remainder of the week.
Detroit Golf Club is a bomber’s course. Stretching nearly 7,400 yards with relatively few penalties for missed fairways, this venue allows golfers to grip and rip.
Last year, each of the top five finishers ranked inside the top five in the field in strokes gained: off the tee. No other strokes-gained category showed the same trend.
This setup makes Bradley a strong target in this market.
Entering this week, he ranks in the 71st percentile in strokes gained: off the tee and in the 76th percentile in driving distance. Bradley has also been playing some solid golf recently, posting four top-20 finishes over his past 10 tournaments.
Michael Brennan Top-20 (-110 at DraftKings)
Another golfer worth targeting in this market is Michael Brennan. Producing an equally strong opening round, Brennan is tied with Bradley at 5-under par.
At -110, it's also worth taking a shot on Brennan to maintain this momentum as the week progresses.
Like Bradley, Brennan fits this course well.
This season, he ranks in the 97th percentile in strokes gained: off the tee and in the 97th percentile in driving distance. A well-rounded golfer, Knapp’s primary weakness is his scrambling around the green.
However, that is not a major concern at Detroit Golf Club, where greens are relatively easy to hit, and past winners have not needed to rely heavily on scrambling.
