The third round of the 2026 Sony Open gets underway on Saturday at Waialae Country Club in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Four golfers are tied for the lead after the first two rounds at 9-under par. They hold a one-stroke advantage over the rest of the field, and the tournament remains wide open with two days remaining.

Sony Open Live Odds, Bets: Value Plays After Round 2
Corey Conners Top 20 (+150 at DraftKings)
After two wind-tested rounds at the Sony Open, 72 golfers remain in the field. One of them is Corey Conners, who enters the weekend tied for 33rd at 3-under par.
Just a couple of shots outside the top 20, now is the time to buy low on Conners. He has extensive experience at Waialae, posting four top-12 finishes in his past seven appearances at the event.
It’s also important to note that Conners has proven capable of rebounding here after slow starts. In 2023, he finished tied for 12th after shooting a combined 132 over his final two rounds.
The year prior, he posted a 133 over the weekend en route to an 11th-place finish.
Robert MacIntyre Top 20 (+200 at DraftKings)
Another golfer to buy low on entering the weekend is Robert MacIntyre. He enters T47 at -2, but this is a guy who has played very well despite his putts not falling.
Among the field, MacIntyre has gained +1.43 true strokes tee to green through the first two rounds. The only reason he isn't sitting higher is due to inconsistent putting.
The question remains: is that poor putting likely to continue? His track record suggests no, considering MacIntyre gained true strokes putting in eight of his previous nine tournaments where ShotLink data was available prior to this week.
If MacIntyre gets the flat stick figured out, he should surge up the leaderboard.
