The fourth day of the 2026 Texas Open gets underway on Sunday at TPC San Antonio.
Robert MacIntyre leads the Texas Open after the third day at 15-under par. He holds a two-stroke lead over the rest of the field, but the tournament is far from over with a round-and-a-half remaining.
Here is my pick for the Texas Open Day 4 best bet for Sunday.
Texas Open Day 4 Odds, Best Bet
Play was suspended due to darkness during the third round, leaving Ludvig Aberg in second place at 13-under par with 11 holes remaining. He will complete those holes Sunday morning before beginning the final round.
Aberg would need to drop four shots to fall outside the top five. While some may recall his late collapse at TPC Sawgrass, he still finished inside the top five in that event.
Another setback from one of the world’s top young golfers appears unlikely, especially at TPC San Antonio. Putting is arguably the most important factor in this course, as each of the top four finishers last year ranked inside the top 17 in the field in strokes gained: putting.
No other strokes-gained category showed a similar trend.
Aberg is a strong putter who has gained true strokes on the greens in each of his past two tournaments, finishing inside the top five in both events. However, his greatest strength is his long-iron play.
Success on the greens at TPC San Antonio is often supported by strong long-iron play. Last season, 19.1% of approach shots came from the 175-200-yard range, the highest distribution of any 25-yard grouping at this course.
Entering this week, Aberg ranks sixth on the PGA Tour in birdie-or-better percentage from that distance.
