The third round of the 2026 Texas Open gets underway on Saturday at TPC San Antonio.
Robert MacIntyre leads the Texas Open after the second round at 14-under par. He holds a four-stroke lead over the rest of the field, but the tournament is not concluded yet with two days remaining.
Here are my picks for the Texas Open Round 3 best bets for Saturday.
Texas Open Round 3 Odds, Best Bets
Maverick McNealy Top 20 (+205 at DraftKings)
Now is the time to buy low on Maverick McNealy, who enters the weekend T43 at 3-under par.
Putting is arguably the most important factor at TPC San Antonio. Last year, each of the top four finishers ranked inside the top 17 in the field in strokes gained: putting.
No other strokes-gained category showed a similar trend.
McNealy is one of the best putters on the PGA Tour, ranking in the 87th percentile in strokes gained: putting. He utilized the flat stick to finish T3 here last year, and there is plenty of time for him to claw back into the top-20 this weekend.
J.J. Spaun Top 20 (-122 at DraftKings)
Another golfer worth targeting in this market is J.J. Spaun. Already in the money, Spaun enters the weekend T15 at six-under par.
Success on the greens at TPC San Antonio is often supported by strong long-iron play. Last season, 19.1% of approach shots came from the 175-200-yard range, the highest distribution of any 25-yard grouping at this course.
One of the best long-iron golfers on the PGA Tour, Spaun ranks in the 95th percentile in strokes gained on the approach from 150+ yards. This is a venue that he has won at before, so he can handle the stress of the weekend at TPC San Antonio to maintain his position on the leaderboard.
