Schlittler has flashed electric stuff through his 13 big league starts this season, which has resulted in a 3.27 ERA and a 1.30 WHIP. Those are respectable numbers for a rookie who's had to pitch in the gauntlet of the AL East.
Schlittler should have another successful outing as the Orioles' lineup has cooled off quite a bit lately. Over the last 30 games, Baltimore is 29th in strikeout rate and batting average against righties.
