Guardians vs Mariners Preview, Prediction
Action PRO projects Guardians starter Joey Cantillo for 4.84 strikeouts in their matchup against the Mariners tonight, giving us a nice 9.9% edge against the market when compared to his current prop line of over/under 5.5, which is good enough to tag the Under with a B- grade in our system.

The lefty will be facing a Seattle lineup that ranked third in wRC+ in 2025 with 113.
The Mariners were also seventh in strikeout percentage, but lost Eugenio Suarez (196 Ks last season) and Jorge Polanco (82), and should be a much more contact-oriented lineup this year.
Surprisingly, Cantillo fared better against right-handed hitters in terms of K% and OPS than against lefties, and he will be facing lefties Brendan Donovan and Josh Naylor tonight.
Cantillo did well in 2025, mainly as a reliever, but he tends to walk frequently. That could spell trouble against this Mariners offense and end up shortening his outing as well as his chances to pile up Ks.
Let's fade him tonight on his strikeout line.
Pick: Joey Cantillo Under 5.5 Strikeouts (-120, FanDuel)
