Twins vs Brewers Prop Bet: Zebby Matthews Pitching Outs

Zebby Matthews Over 14.5 Outs (-120)

Zebby Matthews will finally make his 2025 debut after biding his time in the minors. His first taste of MLB action went poorly last year, but he’s been dominant in the minors this season.

Matthews is plenty stretched out. He’s gone five-plus innings in four of seven starts; He’s thrown 80-plus pitches in three outings.

Milwaukee is a soft landing spot for Matthews’ big league return.

The Brewers rank dead last in OPS, wOBA, and wRC+ vs. right-handed pitching over the past 30 days. They’re middling in pitches seen per plate appearance.

Pick: Zebby Matthews Over 14.5 Outs (-120)

This system focuses exclusively on Cubs home games, where wind direction is a major scoring variable.

When wind blows in or across (in or from sides) and total opens between 8–13, unders become highly valuable.

Wrigley Field is uniquely sensitive to weather due to field orientation and no dome, making it the premier ballpark for wind-based betting edges, which we have on Sunday for the White Sox-Cubs series finale.

Pick: Under 8 (-114)

Angels vs Dodgers Prop Bet: Back Gonsolin

Tony Gonsolin Over 5.5 Strikeouts (+110)

This is the best strikeout matchup for righties by a mile.

The Angels have a massive 28.8% K% vs. RHPs over the past 30 days. That’s more than 3% higher than the next-closest team (Rays at 25.3%).

Tony Gonsolin has been tremendous since coming back from injury, posting a 2.81 ERA with 22 Ks in 16 innings. He beat up on Miami twice, but he also shut down Arizona.

Gonsolin’s velocity is up across the board compared to when we last saw him in 2023. His silly 16% SwStr% is unsustainable, but he was routinely above average in that metric prior to the injuries.

Pick: Tony Gonsolin Over 5.5 Strikeouts (+110)

In Major League Baseball, road underdogs playing interleague games have historically been undervalued by oddsmakers. Since 2016, despite winning only 43.3% of these games, these teams have generated a consistent positive ROI of 4.6%.
