The Braves won Thursday's series opener against the Padres by breaking a tie in the bottom of the ninth inning for a 7-6, walk-off victory. The Padres bounced back and took the next two games, clinching at least a series split of this four-game series. Atlanta will look to get back into the win column in what should be an exciting Sunday Night Baseball game between two teams that could meet in the National League playoffs.

Same Game Parlay – Padres vs. Braves

Manny Machado 2+ Total Bases

Padres third baseman Manny Machado isn't off to a scalding start in the power department this year. He has just a .059 ISO in his first 37 plate appearances.

Still, Machado has a great matchup against Braves rookie left-hander Dylan Dodd. Machado had a .253 ISO against left-handed pitching last season.

Dodd was solid in his Major League debut, going five innings against the Cardinals and allowing six hits, one run and no walks. Dodd only struck out three batters, though, and this will be his first start in Atlanta under the bright lights of Sunday Night Baseball.

Machado should be able to get to him here.

Matt Olson 2+ Total Bases

Unlike Machado, Olson has been crushing the ball in the very early part of the season. Olson has a .389 ISO in his first 42 plate appearances.

Last year, Olson had a .261 ISO against right-handed pitching. Padres starter Seth Lugo was impressive in his first start, allowing just one run in seven innings against the Rockies. Lugo typically doesn't work that deep into games and Atlanta's offense is much more potent than the Rockies.

Olson will continue to crush the ball, whether it's against the Lugo or someone out of the Padres bullpen.

We're going all offense for this same game parlay.

I don't trust Dodd in his second big league start while Lugo is a converted reliever. This should be an exciting back-and-forth game with two potent offenses slugging it out.

If you haven't noticed, home runs are up league wide, almost to 2019 levels. I'm not saying the ball is juiced again, but I'm also not saying that it isn't.

Either way we should be in for a fun Sunday Night Baseball game with lots of action and both teams contributing to over nine runs.
