Pistons vs Bucks NBA Preview

The Pistons split their first four games to begin this season. Since then, they have ripped off 11 wins in a row and enter this game atop the Eastern Conference.

In the process, they have gone from a nice story to looking like an elite team, ranking second in defensive rating and fourth in net rating.

Cade Cunningham earned his first All-Star appearance and All-NBA selection last year and is now averaging 27.3 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 9.9 assists this season.

He may not be the team's only All-Star this season as Jalen Duren is averaging 20.6 points and 11.9 rebounds while shooting 67.4% from the field.

Both Cunningham and Duren have missed a couple of games during the winning streak, as have Ausar Thompson and Isaiah Stewart.

While those four have returned, the team may get even healthier as Jaden Ivey and Tobias Harris were upgraded to questionable for tonight's game.

For Ivey, it would be his first game since New Year's Day after averaging 17.6 points and four assists on 41% shooting from three. He will give the team a secondary playmaker behind Cunningham and will add outside shooting.

Ivey also figures to cut into the minutes for two-way contract sensation Daniss Jenkins, who has been a revelation thus far, scoring 14 points or more in his last five games with seven assists in four of them.

Meanwhile, the Bucks have won their last 13 games against the Pistons. However, they are on a three-game losing streak and will be looking to avoid falling under .500 for the first time this season.

They played their third game so far without Giannis Antetokounmpo as they fell to the 76ers 123-114 in overtime.

Ryan Rollins could not quite match Tyrese Maxey, but he put on quite the performance himself with 32 points, six rebounds, and 14 assists. He could have a bit of added motivation tonight, as the Detroit native will face his hometown team.

Free agent acquisition Myles Turner is averaging 12.4 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks while shooting 42.4% from three.

Without Antetokounmpo, he has upped his average to 17.3 per game. He also has scored 20 points in three of his last five games against the Pistons.

Pistons vs Bucks Prediction, Betting Analysis

Cunningham is second in the league in assists per game and has had at least eight assists in 11 of 12 games this season.

He enters tonight's game having recorded 10 assists in seven of his last eight games.

One of those games included a triple-double when he recorded 46 points, 12 rebounds, and 11 assists in the overtime victory over the Wizards.

With that in mind, I like Cunningham to record a double-double tonight. It will likely come with points and assists, but I would not rule out him getting there with rebounds either.

He also has a double-double in two of his last three contests against Milwaukee.

His primary pick-and-roll partner, Duren, loves recording double-doubles as well, with seven in his last nine games.

He has recorded 30+ points and rebounds combined in eight of those games.

He also had a double-double in all four games against Turner last season, including a 17-point and 17-rebound game against the Pacers.

Turner will likely respond by attacking Duren from the perimeter.

He has made two 3-pointers or more in seven of his last 10 games.

He also made three triples in three of four games against the Pistons last season, who are allowing the fifth-most 3s per game to centers this season.

I will cap this parlay with Rollins for 18 points.

He is averaging 18.3 per game for the season and has scored 18 points or more in six of his last eight games.

Pick: Cade Cunningham To Record A Double-Double (-123, DraftKings)
