Knicks vs Celtics Preview, SGP

Boston will attempt to bounce back from a disappointing opening night loss against the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday.

The Celtics led the Sixers by double figures in the second half but collapsed down the stretch.

Joe Mazzulla's team will play the regular season without their superstar, Jayson Tatum. The former Duke player ruptured his Achilles tendon in the postseason last year and will aim to return for a playoff push this year.

So, Boston will need to lean on Jaylen Brown to lead the offense.

The Celtics' current odds to win the NBA Finals are +6600 on DraftKings.

New York enters the season as one of the favorites to win the Eastern Conference. Few teams possess more talent on paper than New York.

The Knicks surprisingly fired former head coach Tom Thibodeau in the offseason and hired Mike Brown, a former coach of the year.

Veterans Jalen Brunson and Karl Anthony-Towns lead the Knicks.

Brunson dropped 23 points in the Knicks' opening season win over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday Night.

Boston Celtics +6.5

We will take the points with the road underdog in this matchup.

Despite Tatum being out of the lineup, this remains one of the best teams in the Eastern Conference.

The Celtics have enough offensive firepower to keep this game tight throughout.

In a tight back-and-forth contest, I will gladly take the points.

Anfernee Simons Over 14.5 Points

The Celtics added Simons in the offseason, trading away veteran Jrue Holiday.

Simons is a three-level scorer and will take on a larger role in Tatum's absence.

The former first-round pick logged 32 minutes against Philly on Wednesday.

We should see similar volume for Simons tonight, which will bode well for this prop.

Our Action Pro Report projects 16.7 points.
