The Bucks and Magic just played against each other two days ago, a game in which we saw Orlando cruise to a dominant 118-99 victory.
We get these short-order rematches in the NBA sometimes. There’s another spot like this on today's slate between the Rockets and the Clippers, so this handicap can be applied there too if you want.
Repeat matchups tend to be under spots, and you’ll usually see the line dip a little — maybe one or two points.
There’s increased familiarity with defensive assignments. When you face a new team, you’re seeing new players and tendencies, and you are not as locked into the scouting report.
