Grizzlies vs Warriors NBA Preview
Memphis opened the season with a 123-103 win over the Utah Jazz, fueled by a career-high 45 points from Ty Jerome.
Golden State will try to bounce back following a 127-105 season-opening loss to the Lakers.
Steph Curry did his best to keep the Warriors competitive, scoring 23 points on 7-0f-15 shooting, but it was clear the future Hall of Famer has little help on this roster, particularly with Jimmy Butler and Moses Moody sidelined.
Despite some good work from rookie Yaxel Lendeborg, the Lakers ended the game shooting 57% from the floor, including nearly 40% from 3-point range.
That's probably one of the reasons why our PRO Prop projections like Jerome to stay hot in this matchup.
Grizzlies vs Warriors Pick, Betting Analysis
Those who followed Jermone last season knew a night like his performance against Utah was always in the cards. Despite battling through several injuries throughout last season, Jerome showed flashes of this.
The shooting guard averaged 19.7 points on 47.4%, including 42% from beyond the arc over 15 games. But more importantly, he had a 32.7% usage rate, which continued in the win over the Jazz.
Jermone went a ridiculous 17-for-25 from the floor and 5-for-10 from three. Yet, sportsbooks have only adjusted his point total for this game, now sitting at 21.5, while our PRO Props have Jermone projected at 24.8 points. That's an edge of nearly 25%.
Pick: Ty Jerome Over 21.5 Points (-112)
