Fresh off his third Eastern Conference finals appearance in the past four season, Boston Celtics head coach Brad Stevens will enter 2020-21 NBA season as the favorite to win Coach of the Year. Stevens is ahead of the man who beat him in the East finals during the bubble, Erik Spoelstra (12-1), and well ahead of last season's winner Nick Nurse (20-1).
Stevens has been making a strong case to win COY for a while — the C's have made the playoffs in six-consecutive seasons and have the third-best win percentage in the NBA (.645) over the past four seasons.
