Will Victor Wembanyama be the No. 1 overall pick in the draft?

It seems like a certainty at this point, and there are still opportunities to make a quick buck at various sportsbooks.

With the 2023 NBA Draft on Thursday, June 22 (8 p.m. ET on ABC/ESPN), sportsbooks have odds for who will be the No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3 picks in the draft.

First Overall Pick

Wembanyama is -10000 to be the No. 1 overall pick at BetMGM. That means a bettor would have to wager $10,000 to win $100. He is understandably getting 22.9% of the bets and accounts for 93.7% of the handle.

The most popular No. 1 pick bet at BetMGM is actually Brandon Miller. He is getting 34.1% of the bets and accounts for 3.9% of the handle at +15000 odds.

Scoot Henderson has also received some bets at +3000 odds. He is getting 21.3% of the tickets and accounts for 1.4% of the handle.

Second Overall Pick

Henderson is the favorite to go second overall. His odds have bounced around during the process. He is currently -275 to go No. 2 after being as high as +160 last week. The G League Ignite product is getting 43.6% of the tickets and accounts for 58% of the handle to be second off the board.

Henderson has been neck-and-neck with Miller to go No. 2. He is currently +175 at BetMGM after getting 18.6% of the bets and accounting for 36.7% of the money.

Wembenyama has garnered 16.2% of the bets to go No. 2 at +10000 odds.

Amen Thompson has received some action, but he has fallen to +12500 to go No. 2. Just 7.9% of the bets are on Thompson.

Third Overall Pick

Miller is currently the favorite to go third overall at -225 odds. The Alabama product has received 32.2% of the tickets and accounts for 41.2% of the money.

Henderson is behind him at +175 as the favorite to go No. 3 overall. He is getting 19% of the bets and accounts for 41.2% of the handle.

Cam Whitmore is a longshot who is getting some betting attention at +1800 odds. He is receiving 11.8% of the bets and accounts for 3.7% of the money.

Thompson is also garnering betting attention with 10% of the bets and 3.7% of the handle. He is currently +1400 to go third overall.
