The play-in tournament for the NBA playoffs is just a day away, and BetMGM released its updated betting odds, ticket percentage and handle percentage ahead of the Association's peak months.

According to BetMGM, the team that is getting the most love in the market is the Boston Celtics, who have amassed 13.2% of the tickets and 16.2% of the handle in the Finals market — both the highest percentages.

While the Celtics are the most bet-on team, they don't represent one of the most significant liabilities for the book. Those honors would belong to the Denver Nuggets, Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers.

The Nuggets, the Western Conference's first seed, are still listed at +1000 to win the title, and they've picked up 12.6% of the betting tickets to go with 12.8% of the handle.

Behind the Nuggets is a familiar team, the Golden State Warriors. The defending champions are listed at +1000 as well, and they've amassed 9.6% of the wagers to go with 15.2% of the money.

Another bad outcome for BetMGM would be the Los Angeles Lakers, as LeBron James' revamped squad has tracked 6.7% of the tickets and 6.2% of the money. The Lakers opened at +2200 this year, but after going even higher, they are now listed at +1600.

The current title favorites, the Milwaukee Bucks, are +275 to win a second title in the Giannis Antetokounmpo era. Milwaukee has garnered 10.5% of the tickets and 10.2% of the money in the market.

Phoenix is another popular pick to get the job done, as the team with Kevin Durant, Devin Booker and Chris Paul is +500 to win the title.

However, the third seed in the West, the Sacramento Kings, are getting absolutely no respect from bettors. They have received only 1.7% of the bets and 0.8% of the handle at +6600.

After the play-in, the opening round of the NBA playoffs will get underway on Saturday, April 15.
