We have an absolutely loaded NBA slate on Wednesday night, with 12 games set to be played.
I will be on the hunt for a couple of moneyline selections that I feel hold sufficient value to warrant a moneyline parlay pick between the two.
Below, I will break down both of the aforementioned moneyline picks from Wednesday’s slate of games, and further provide extensive analysis to support each of my selections.
Let's get into my NBA moneyline picks and predictions for Wednesday, October 28.

Nuggets vs Pelicans Moneyline Pick
The Denver Nuggets head on the road for a matchup with the Pelicans at their home ‘Smoothie King Center’ in New Orleans.
New Orleans will still be looking for its first win of the season thus far, while the Nuggets will also be looking to reverse their fortunes after dropping two of the first three games of the season.
Despite an underwhelming 0-3 start to the Pelicans’ 2026-27 NBA campaign, I still feel head coach Jamahal Mosley’s bunch has the potential to turn things around on Wednesday night given that the team boasts some impressive young talent throughout its rotation.
In addition to the Pelicans being very due for their first win of the season thus far, this is the second consecutive game where New Orleans will be facing Denver- making this a prime revenge spot to target on Wednesday night.
New Orleans jumped out to a massive 23-point lead in the first matchup this past weekend, while the Nuggets came storming back eventually prevailing by six points in overtime.
While the Pelicans’ blown lead is obviously concerning on the surface, the fact that they were able to build such a monumental lead on the road gives me some confidence that New Orleans is fully capable of pulling the outright upset at home.
New Orleans boasts an elite offensive frontcourt featuring the likes of Zion Williamson and former Terp Derik Queen, who I feel is one of the most underrated players in the entire NBA.
Denver’s defensive effort this season has been lackluster to say the least, and are relatively one-dimensional on the offensive end of the floor with a supporting cast that struggles to create offense if the ball is not put into the hands of its three-time NBA MVP Nikola Jokic.
In addition to Queen and Zion, the Pelicans have remarkably athletic guard play as well with Dejounte Murray and Jeremiah Fears Jr both boasting an incredibly versatile skillset.
Denver’s perimeter defense has been horrific this season, which should open up plenty of opportunities to “make it rain” from beyond the arc, an area New Orleans thrives with Trey Murphy and Murray amongst many others very capable of lighting it up from downtown.
The Pelicans have already laid the blueprint for what it will take to come out with a victory on Wednesday night, and I am more than willing to back New Orleans moneyline +164 to get redemption in the second matchup between the two Western Conference foes.
Pick: Pelicans Moneyline (+164)
Warriors vs Timberwolves Moneyline Pick
The Timberwolves were just handed some devastating news on Tuesday afternoon as superstar wing Anthony Edwards has been ruled out for several months with a knee injury, and will have an uphill battle until he returns to action.
Minnesota will host the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday night in what I expect to be a very intriguing matchup, zeroing in on how this Wolves offense will fare without its premier scorer and best overall player.
Though, Minnesota boasts one of the most impressive rotations in the entire NBA with a bench that has some elite playmakers including the Wolves Guard Ayo Dosunmu and wing Terrence Shannon Jr. amongst many others.
While many anticipate the Timberwolves to spiral following the Edwards injury news, I still see a roster with a ton of depth and young talent.
On the other hand, Golden State’s offensive production has largely relied on rookie Forward Yaxel Lendeborg who is already making his case for ‘Rookie of the Year’ given he is averaging nearly 22 PPG and over eight rebounds in the first four games of his NBA career.
Unfortunately for the former Michigan Wolverine, he draws an extremely tough Wolves defensive frontcourt that features Rudy Gobert.
While the Wolves have definitely lost a bit of their identity without Edwards on the floor, I think the rest of Minnesota’s core has enough talent to win games even without its star player.
For my second moneyline pick for Wednesday night, I feel confident backing the Wolves -170 moneyline.
Pick: Timberwolves Moneyline (-170)
