The Thunder and Nuggets will square off in Game 6 of the Western Conference Semifinals tonight.
Continue below for my two NBA prop bets for Thursday, May 15.
NBA Player Props for Thursday, May 15
- Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Under 1.5 Three-Pointers Made (-115)
- Michael Porter Jr. Over 15.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-115)
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander hasn't really found his form from the perimeter in this series.
He is only shooting 24% from 3PT range in the playoffs, and he’s only cleared this in just one of five games in this series.
Part of that is that the Nuggets have limited him to only 4.4 3PT attempts per game.
Less than 21% of his total shots in the series are from the 3PT range.
Denver is trying to get the ball out of his hands to make him a passer, which is why his assist rate has gone up in this series (7.2 assists in the 2nd round, 6.1 assists in the 1st round).
SGA will get his points, but it’ll likely be inside the arc or at the free-throw line.
Pick: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Under 1.5 Three-Pointers Made (-115)
Look, I get this one is gross.
Porter hasn’t looked great this series and has only cleared this once, but I think the Nuggets have been saving him for this game.
He only played 29 minutes in Game 5, but I expect closer to his usual 35 minutes in Game 6 tonight.
Despite his shoulder injury, he’s still racking up rebounds, averaging just over 10 chances per game in the series.
I think MPJ could clear this on points alone, but will take the PRA instead.
Pick: Michael Porter Jr. Over 15.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-115)
Those are my two bets, both tracked with the Action Network app.
If you parlay these two bets with Denver moneyline, it comes out to +575 at bet365.
Bonne Chance!
