When it comes to NBA player props, we don't just settle for the median outcome. If the matchups, rotations, and underlying metrics tell us a player is in a smash spot, we aren't stopping at the base line. We are building the ladder and riding the escalator all the way to the top.
Let's get into my NBA player prop ladders and escalator picks for Monday, November 2.

Evan Mobley Points Escalator
The new-look Cavaliers are more balanced than last year's team and don't depend on high-volume shooting from Donovan Mitchell. Mitchell is still the first option on offense, but Mobley's growth as a shooter has made him a lethal second option in 2026-27.
The 2025 Defensive Player of the Year is averaging a career-high 19.7 points while shooting 58.1% from the field and 57.7% from long distance. His three-point shooting volume has raised his offensive ceiling significantly. Mobley attempted fewer than 2.0 triples per contest through his first three NBA seasons. Now, he's up to 4.3 tries per contest. He'll have a great chance to expose the Thunder's weakened defense on Monday.
Chet Holmgren is set to miss 8-10 weeks with a foot injury, and his absence will leave OKC's frontcourt drastically undersized. Kenrich Williams is operating as a fill-in starter, but it hasn't worked out well for OKC. Opposing teams have posted 117.6 points per game against the Thunder since Holmgren last played (three games ago). That's a massive drop in quality for a team that kicked off the year as an elite scoring defense.
Mobley scored a season-high 27 points in 25 minutes in a blowout win over the Bucks his last time out and has a clear edge against an opponent that's trying to adjust without two major defensive anchors. His Monday matchup should be much more competitive.
Bettors should expect a Thunder squad that's currently playing like a bottom-10 defense to struggle on the road here. There's plenty of value here for a player who has scored at least 18 points five times in six appearances. He's eclipsed 19 points three times.

Onyeka Okongwu Rebounds Escalator
Let's target rebounds in our second escalator.
The Pacers are down two key starters early in 2026-27, but Ivica Zubac is the important one. An ankle injury has sidelined the walking double-double, so Jay Huff will likely continue to serve as the team's starting center.
Huff is logging more than spot minutes as a fill-in and rebounds at a decent level, but can't last for an entire game against more explosive bigs like Onyeka Onyeka Okongwu. Okongwu is new to day-one starter responsibilities and trails Jalen Johnson in total boards, but is coming into his own. He's tallied at least 10 rebounds in each of his last two outings. That included a season-high 12-board performance against the Cavaliers.
Now, he'll get to capitalize against a Pacers team that gives up 47.4 rebounds per game. That's the fifth-worst mark in the league so far this season.
Okongwu got off to a slower start in 2026-27 after facing the Rockets and Hornets in three of his first four games. They rank first and third in fewest rebounds allowed per game, respectively. However, that hasn't stopped him from ranking fourth overall in total offensive rebounds (22) this year.
His physicality and quick-twitch ability can help him take advantage of a major mismatch and exceed his current rebounding average (7.1). Backup center Jock Landale is out with a hip injury. Okongwu can use his absence to get more run than usual.
