Just as the series outlook has dramatically changed since the Nuggets' Game 1 victory over the Jazz, so too has the betting market's perception of these teams.

Following that win, the Nuggets entered Game 2 behind a 57% backing at a closing number of -3.5 (opened -4). They, of course, lost, but had another majority backing (54%) in Game 3 — a game that saw them go from an opener of -1.5 to +1.

Finally, in Sunday's Game 4, the Jazz drew the majority at 57%. They opened at -2.5 and closed -3.5, failing to cover in a 129-127 win. Which brings us to tonight.

Bettors seem convinced that this series belongs to Utah at this point, as 68% of spread tickets have landed on the Jazz, who opened at -3 at most books.

But has this line now moved too much since the start of the series? Sharps seem to think so.

Jazz vs. Nuggets Sharp Betting Pick

Even though they aren't in the majority, the bettors on the Nuggets have still been able to bring this line down from its opener.

Part of the reason for that is they've generated a much more balanced percentage of money (45%). That's obviously still not enough to create a monetary liability for sportsbooks, but it does reveal that bigger bettors — the ones more likely to be sharps — are among that minority.

Confirming that to be the case, six Sports Insights Bet Signals, which track and record instances of market movement caused by sharp action, have been triggered on the Nuggets, including one just after 4 p.m. ET that sent a few books down to +2.

So while the public seems to have shifted its allegiance from Denver to Utah over the past week, sharps look to be doing the exact opposite.

Sharp angle: Nuggets (moved from +3 to +2.5)
