The Knicks are 1.5-point favorites over the Pistons on the spread (Knicks -1.5), with the over/under set at 222.5 total points. New York is a -115 favorite to win outright on the moneyline, while Detroit is -105 to pull off the upset.

Knicks vs Pistons NBA Preview
Both teams made moves on the margins that should help them through this two-month stretch to the playoffs.
The Knicks notably added Jose Alvarado for Dalen Terry and two second-round picks after dumping Guerschon Yabusele — who had a great game last night — to Chicago.
Meanwhile, Detroit added Kevin Huerter in exchange for Jaden Ivey, in a move that also involved Chicago.
Huerter made his debut for the Pistons last night, playing only six minutes without scoring a point.
As of this morning, it is unknown whether Alvarado will make his Knicks debut tonight.
Josh Hart (ankle) and Karl-Anthony Towns (laceration) are questionable, and OG Anunoby (toe) is probable.
Deuce McBride (hernia) is undergoing surgery and could miss the rest of the regular season.
Given the Pistons smacked the Knicks 121-90 last month in Detroit, I'd be surprised if the Knicks weren't a full go minus McBride and possibly Alvarado.
For the Pistons, Jalen Duren (knee) left last night's loss against the Washington Wizards (126-117 at home!) early and is questionable to play tonight.
Tobias Harris (hip) and Dario Saric (recently acquired) sat out Thursday. I'd expect Harris to play, given he's played every game for about a month.
Knicks vs Pistons Predictions, Betting Analysis
OG Anunoby has had two or more steals in 6-of-10 games, and even had three in the whooping against Detroit earlier this year.
Despite the Pistons' success, they still rank in the top 10 in turnovers per 100 possessions at 15.3.
In January, their turnover percentage was 15.7%, sixth-highest in the NBA, and last night they had 15 turnovers against the Wizards.
Anunoby's defense is often a catalyst in these games, so I'll back the building momentum on steals while it looks like we'll get a more competitive game relative to Knicks vs. Pistons last month.
Pick: OG Anunoby Over 1.5 Steals (-119, DraftKings)
Spread
I have no play on the spread in this game.
Moneyline
I'm not interested in the moneyline tonight.
