- Learn how the pros are moving betting odds for this ACC Tournament matchup.
The pros aren't wasting any time jumping into major-conference tournament mode. The ACC kicks off the first major tournament this afternoon with what will be one of the most heavily-bet games of the day, and sharp bettors have already caused a significant line shift.
Wake Forest and Pitt enter the postseason at 6-14 apiece in conference play — 13th and 14th place, respectively (out of 15). Pitt does have a 1.5-game overall advantage, but has lost seven straight entering today.
Wake, meanwhile, has wins over Xavier (No. 23 at the time) and, of course, Duke.
Perhaps a result of its more impressive resume, Wake opened as a 1-point favorite in today's game.

ACC Tournament: Pittsburgh vs. Wake Forest Sharp Betting Pick
Laying a single point was an easy decision for most bettors, who probably still have the Duke win at the forefront of their minds. Since this spread opened, 69% of bets have landed on Wake Forest.
However, those bettors have generated just 53% of actual money, meaning bigger bets — the ones more likely to come from sharps — are going the other way.
Sure enough, Sports Insights' Bet Signals — triggered by market activity that comes from sharp action — have revealed four instances of pro money hitting Pitt, and as a result, the Panthers have flipped from 1-point underdogs to 1-point favorites.
Sharp angle: Pittsburgh (moved from +1 to -1)
