  • The college football regular season is over, which means we know which 82 teams are bowl-eligible.
  • Our Brett McMurphy has been tracking every team fighting for a sixth win and has listed all 82 teams that have reached bowl eligibility.
  • Check out the full list of all 82 bowl-eligible teams below.

Congrats to James Madison and Jacksonville State. Because there were not enough bowl-eligible teams, the Dukes and Gamecocks are bowl-bound in their second year reclassifying from FCS to FBS.

There ended up being 79 bowl-eligible teams to fill 82 spots. JMU and JSU earned bids, and only one team with a 5-7 record — Minnesota — was needed to fill out all of the bowl commitments.

On the final weekend, 12 teams reached the magic six-win mark to reach bowl eligibility.

The Sun Belt will have a conference record 12 teams in bowls. The ACC also will have 12 teams, including Notre Dame, followed by the SEC, Big 12 and Big Ten with nine teams each.

Here's a complete rundown of the 82 bowl teams. The pairings will be officially announced next Sunday.
