We're in for an absolute showdown on Saturday evening as first-year LSU head coach Lane Kiffin leads his seventh-ranked Tigers into Oxford to face his former squad in eighth-ranked Ole Miss.

LSU enters Saturday night’s SEC clash as a three-point road favorite to take down the Rebels at their home at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium in Mississippi.

Below, I'll provide a “same-game-parlay” betting angle that you can take when wagering on Saturday night’s Magnolia Bowl. So, here's my Ole Miss vs LSU parlay and picks for Saturday, September 19, 2026.

SGP Leg 1: LSU ML (-155)

For the first leg of my SGP, I favor backing LSU on its moneyline in a game I expect to go down to the wire.

In one of the biggest moves in the transfer portal this past offseason, the Tigers landed former Arizona State QB Sam Leavitt, who has quickly made an immediate impact for Kiffin’s new-look offense.

LSU’s passing attack leads the SEC through the first two games of the season, with Leavitt racking up 574 yards in the air so far.

The Tigers defeated Louisiana Tech and Clemson by an average margin of a whopping 46 points per game, with LSU’s offense scoring 96 points in the process.

In addition to its electric offense, LSU ranks near the top nationally in total defense and havoc rate (30.2%), boasting an exceptional pass rush that has already sacked opposing QBs 12 times.

I expect the Kiffin factor to be a massive edge for LSU as well, given his vast familiarity with Ole Miss personnel, and more particularly the weaknesses of Rebels’ QB Trinidad Chambliss.

Kiffin went 50-14 as Ole Miss HC, racking up two 10-win seasons, two 11-win seasons and a trip to the College Football Playoff semifinals.

While I expect the Rebels faithful to play a big role in favor of Ole Miss by creating a hostile environment, I think LSU is the better team on both sides of the ball.

SGP Leg 2: Kewan Lacy Anytime TD (-260)

If you have read any of my previous SGP segments, you know I typically prefer pairing two negatively correlated wagers, which magnifies the odds because of the inverse relationship between the two parlay legs.

That said, I'm willing to take a shot on Ole Miss RB Kewan Lacy to find the back of the end zone, which should round out our SGP nicely paired with the Tigers moneyline.

The Rebels tailback scored a whopping 24 touchdowns last season as a sophomore and has already scored three TDs across Ole Miss’ first two games.

Lacy is a touchdown vulture, and while I favor LSU to ultimately prevail, I fully expect a high-scoring showdown with the two SEC foes both excelling offensively.
